When Life Throws You Lemons … Make Limoncello!

On the cliffs of Sorrento the air is filled with the scent of lemons and the sea … “Let’s bottle that fragrance” they said, and thus Limoncello was born.

Join Mama Carms at her home in Jing’an and learn how to make limoncello. Mama Carms has been a staple on the Shanghai scene since she moved here two years ago from Brooklyn, New York. Born to Italian immigrants, and married to one for over 40 years, she is now in her 81st year and is as good at hosting as she is as making limoncello.

Cost is RMB 300 to include supplies, decanter, recipes, snacks and samples. Everything you need to make the lemon sunshine liqueur. Open to non-members at same price.
