Photography Club (Practical session)

Meet at 9:45 for a 10am start until noon

This is the practical session of the January Brits Abroad Photography club. Anyone is welcome to join - just bring along your camera and your desire to take great photos!

There are two linked sessions in each month: on the first (7th January) we'll be taking photos around the 1933 Slaughterhouse practising setting the ISO on our cameras to vary their sensitivity to light so we can take photos inside more effectively; we'll also practise techniques of composition to make our photos more dramatic.

Anyone is welcome to attend but you'll get the most out of the session if you have a camera with settings you can adjust. If you're not sure how to use your camera, that's fine - we can help and you can bring your manual along too if you have it.

The follow-up session will be on 21st January when we'll be looking at the photos that we took in the practical session - please remember to sign up separately for this session as well.

It is no longer possible to cancel reservations. Cancellations will incur any charges that are not refundable by Brits Abroad. Failure to attend an event may also incur charges.

Brits Abroad will make every effort to honour your reservation but occasionally, due to circumstances beyond our control, this might not be possible. As such, Brits Abroad reserves the right to cancel your reservation at any time before the event at the discretion of the event organiser.
